Where children are not eligible for a free school meal, the daily cost is £2-50 and must be paid in advance of the dinner.

Our fresh homemade school lunches delivered daily by a local SECAT school, Thorpedene Primary School. Orders for school lunches are made via the MCAS app.

Our menu is arranged so that every day we offer a meal that is suitable for some common dietary and religious needs.  If you have a requirement that cannot be met by the menu offered please contact Mrs Baker by email lbaker@bournesgreen.secat.co.uk

On occasions, it may be necessary to make substitutions to selected meals without prior notice. We will endeavour to make any substitution as similar to the original as possible and known allergies or dietary requirements will be catered for.

Free School Meal Eligibility

Please use the Southend Council Information Page to see if your child may be eligible for Free Schools Meals. Should you wish to discuss this matter in confidence, please see Mr Denchfield or a member of the School Office Team.

Packed Lunches

Please ensure that packed lunches do not contain fizzy drinks, sweets, chocolate, nuts or any energy drinks/bars. We welcome the support of our parents in promoting a healthy lunch and also being respectful of those with allergies (e.g. nuts).

Lunch boxes are stored in the classroom and sometimes the hall and cannot be refrigerated.
