LOWER SCHOOL LEN FORGE FOOTBALL

The afternoon session at Len Forge hosted the main tournament. Our A team was present and ready for action.

We came storming out the blocks, with a massive 3 - 0 win for our first game! Second game was against Alleyn Court resulting in a satisfying 1 - 0 win. We then drew our 2 follwing matches. This made the league exceptionally tight with 3 teams finishing on the same points. The top two teams on the same goal difference too! One of them being us! it came down to a coin toss to decide who went top of the group... we won the toss and went through to the Super 10s round.

Unfortunately though this meant we faced the harder group. We lost a few important matches and were knocked out, but not without a jolly good fight! Some amazing saves from Theo, lovely play from our defence and midfield, with shots hitting the posts and crossbar!

A great afternoon, even the sun came out to shine!
