MOVE OVER BANKSY!
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Oak class.
We have had a wonderful couple of weeks in Oak class. The children have been doing lots of art work linked with our geography topic about volcanoes and our English work on Michael Morpurgo’s The Rainbow Bear.
Last week we became mini Banksys and created some beautiful pieces of work featuring the Aurora Borealis (the Northern Lights) using water colours and the wet on wet technique. We then spray painted polar bears onto the background with dazzling results!!
This week we have been focusing on our geography topic and have been making volcanoes out of cardboard, plastic bottles and ModRoc. The children had a wonderful messy time and we can’t wait to see them painted and finished next week.
We can’t believe there is only one week left until half term!! Time really does fly when you’re having fun!!
