An amazing two weeks!

Hazel class have been enjoying Unique Week and the activities involved. One of the assemblies on Tuesday, was the Music Man Project, which is an accessible music service, creating inspirational opportunities for children and adults with a learning disability to learn, enjoy and perform music. It operates across the UK including sell-out concerts at the London Palladium and Royal Albert Hall! The children were given the opportunity to listen and take part as the Music Man Project performed for an hour, bringing some magic of music to the children!

On Thursday, we had a visit from Lancaster School. The children met five of the students from the school and learned about their learning disabilities. Two of the students, Brighten and Joseph, lit up the assembly with their amazing personalities!

Another activity which the children have participated in during the last two weeks, was our Under the Sea project. Each class had the opportunity to designing and painting various underwater sea life, such as an octopus, sea horse and various other fish, in the swimming pool changing room. The finished result is amazing!
