PUDSEY AND PYJAMAS!
Hazel class has continued to learn about different Greek myths...
Hazel class has continued to learn about different Greek myths, analysing the characters, the story and the language used. They wrote creatively, building their own mythical beast using the appropriate vocabulary and writing techniques. Finally they started to write a Greek myth of their own, ensuring all the features were included.
Another highlight has been participating in Children in Need Day, dressing up in pyjamas or anything else Pudsey Bear related. They enjoyed a special assembly, as well as (probably the most import of all) a cake sale to raise money for the worthy cause; some children even made and sold their own creative bits, such as key rings. These were a big hit with the other children!
In the afternoon, Hazel class enjoyed their continued success learning a brass instrument.
Since returning to school after half-term, the class has been developing their hockey skills, with a great deal of success and some proving to be very competitive players!
