Arts week this week has certainly been busy!

Arts week this week has certainly been busy! On Tuesday, Year 4 took part in a drama workshop led by Miss Giles. The children learnt about Anne of Cleves and what happened when she met Henry VIII and he discovered she was an ‘ugly horse’! They acted out these scenes in either the role of Henry VIII, Anne of Cleves, Thomas Cromwell or Hans. It was so wonderful to watch the children in these acting roles, adding humour to their performances and demonstrating great team work.

We were then lucky enough to have a fantastic musical workshop on Thursday morning. We were entertained by Travelling by Tuba and learnt about instruments from around the world. Some of us were lucky enough to play these fantastic instruments. We had a great morning.
