Elm class have continued to settle into the routine of year 4, and continued to shine! They immersed themselves into our first school trip, which was a wonderful day out at the beach and the Sealife Adventure.
The day started with a hasty walk to Thorpe Bay station to catch the train to Southend East. From there, the children walked sensibly to the beach opposite Sealife Adventure. Elm class then spent the morning on the beach, participating in various activities – the sand castle competition prove to be the most popular!
During the afternoon, our class explored Sealife Adventure – with children being given the opportunity to stroke a starfish! A brisk walk back up to the station to catch the train back to Thorpe Bay, concluded the day.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the day, with lots of learning, team building and new experiences completed.
