LIGHT AND SHADOWS!
Since our last blog an incredible amount has happened (that’s not including any Easter eggs the children may have eaten!).
Since our last blog an incredible amount has happened (that’s not including any Easter eggs the children may have eaten!). Last week we started our new science topic of Light and Shadows, which saw the children linking experimenting with shadows to our work in English which was around Greek Myths: the photos show a class as well as group mythical creatures! The children have also been sewing, using different stitches they have learnt in lessons, to make a teddy bear puppet. This was part of Unique Week, which was for children to learn, think and do things that were different in some way. The week included an inspiring assembly with children visiting from another school in Southend, different daily focuses that stimulated children to think more, such as appreciate the things around them. All in all it’s been a busy time at school!
