OUT OF THIS WORLD!
Beech class have undertaken many exciting activities over the last couple of weeks
Beech class have undertaken many exciting activities over the last couple of weeks. One day that was super thrilling was our Greek day. All the children came dressed in the most wonderful costumes, looking very Grecian. We were set lots of activities and told lots of information about the Ancient times. It was really interesting ad we learnt a lot. Hazel from Beech said “Greek day was a spectacular day. We had the honour of having Mr Handsome talk about Greeks . We learnt a lot from it and we really thank him for coming in and hope next year in year five they have a good Greek day as well.”
This week we also managed to finish our new and exciting space projects for art. Over the course of the project the children have marbelled paper, printed and painting to achieve the different sections of the piece. On Thurday we put it altogether to create the most remarkable outcomes. They all look so full of colour, pattern and fun. The children have really enjoyed making them and myself and Mrs Garner have loved watching and guiding them on this exploration of all things arty through space! Holly from Beech said “We did the backgrounds and we made marbelling and printing planets to cut out into circles and stick onto our background. All of it together made a wonderful space scene. It was very fun and we learnt about all the different planets by doing the art. They all turned out looking outstanding.”

Thanks Beech for making it all worthwhile
