After our amazing visit to Stubbers, Hazel class had a great time looking over all of the photographs. It was wonderful to admire the stunning surroundings and reminisce on the peaceful environment where we spent our 3 days together. To make a lasting memory of this, we each chose our favourite photograph from a given selection and painted a watercolour scene during our Art lessons. After producing a sketch outline of the chosen image, we started to paint. Before committing to paper, we thought about how to mix the paints to create the desired tone and shade. Then we set to work on our masterpieces! It was fabulous to see the familiar images from Stubbers come to life through paint. Everything from the stunning sailing lake to the beautiful colours from our campfire, they are all there to be admired.
We are all very proud of our art work and cannot wait to display it in our classroom for everyone to see. The paintings will also remind us of our superb trip to Stubbers and the happy memories we all shared.
Well done Hazel Class!
