PICTOGRAMS AND FUDGE DAY - VIKING LONGSHIPS
Oak class have been learning about statistics for the last two weeks.
Oak class have been learning about statistics for the last two weeks. They have interpreted various charts and graphs and solved questions on the data presented. This week they have been collecting their own data and thinking about how they could present it clearly. On Tuesday they went outside to collect data from their peers and create a pictogram with a partner using chalk. The children loved the whole experience and did a great job working in partners, discussing all the elements needed in order to succeed.
Fudge Day - Viking Longships
On Tuesday 19th, the children were thrilled to have male family members come and join them to complete an art and design activity. The children (with a little help) produced the most amazing longships. There was a wonderful buzz around the class as everyone was engrossed in their activity. A big thank you to all those who came for making it such a great experience and for helping all the children in the class achieve what had been asked of them. More pictures will follow once the longships are on display.
