FAREWELL YEAR 3!
The last week of another school year has crept up on us, so sadly everyone will go their own way for the next six weeks.
The last week of another school year has crept up on us, so sadly everyone will go their own way for the next six weeks. Our final two weeks have been very busy with many activities being undertaken, one of which was the year 3 & 4 swimming gala. This was a new experience for me as well as the children, and it turned out to be a very enjoyable and exciting morning, with children competing for their house and given the opportunity to show their swimming skills in front of their class and year group. It was a close run competition, but Neville ran out winners across the lower school.
Open evening was another delightful event which gave children the opportunity to show off the work they had completed during the year, as well as their Frame It writing which was displayed around the school.
I would like to thank the children for being so welcoming and responsive to me for the second half of the year; it has been an absolute pleasure teaching Oak Class this year and wish them every success in year four next year. I would also like to thank all the parents for their support, especially those that have helped on school trips this year.
Enjoy the summer break!
