On Friday afternoon, Year 3 had a wonderful time making their superhero sandwiches!
On Friday afternoon, Year 3 had a wonderful time making their superhero sandwiches, which contained all five food groups to ensure the superhero would have enough energy throughout the day.
Before Christmas the children deconstructed and sampled some sandwiches made with different breads and fillings. They then designed their own sandwiches. Thinking about making it balanced and healthy.
The children then tasted their sandwiches and evaluated them on taste, texture, smell and appearance.
